CATHY GRANT, TREASURER
Cathy has been singing in choirs since childhood and has been involved as a volunteer, board member, and employee in many arts organizations over the last 35 years. She is a Registered Nurse by profession and has also earned an MBA. She loves the organization associated with filing in forms and boxes, and has always liked accounting. She spends time every day solving sudoku puzzles and has recently become a dedicated wordle/byrdle/canuckle player! |
SHANNON KOLOTYLUK, MEMBER AT LARGE
Shannon Kolotyluk holds a BMus in Vocal Performance and extended her vocal training through the Opera NUOVA program and abroad in Salzburg, Austria. She has performed as a member and soloist with many ensembles including the U of A Madrigal Singers, the University of Houston Choral Artists, the Houston Symphony Chorus, Pro Coro Canada, and Da Camera Singers. She has enjoyed many years as a music educator and continues to develop young artists through Evergreen Catholic School Division and Rock Camp Alberta. Shannon actively promotes Arts programming in her community and is delighted to join the DCS board! |
CHERYL KRUEGER, RECORDING SECRETARY
Cheryl enjoys the challenges and rewards of singing second soprano with DaCamera Singers since 2011. She fulfills the role of the choir's archivist and as a previous board member is jumping on the board again for 2023 fall. Cheryl also currently serves on the board of DAI (Leadership Development Organization) and is involved in supporting refugee immigrants to Canada. Cheryl grew up singing with family and church groups and taught Music for Young Children for many years. She holds a Master's of Divinity degree in Pastoral Counseling and is currently a semi-retired hospital chaplain which she considers the best job in the world. She is married to baritone DaCamera singer, Gary Krueger. |
MARIA ROSVICK, MEMBER AT LARGE
2022 marks Maria's fourth season with Da Camera Singers. She has had a blast singing in the alto section, working on the 60th Anniversary Committee, organizing the choir's online silent auction, and acting as Zoom coordinator amidst the constant changes of the Covid-19 pandemic. She has trained under several vocal instructors in many styles, including contemporary, musical theatre, classical art song, and opera. Besides singing in Da Camera, she also plays her French horn in local orchestras and musical theatre pit bands (when she isn't on stage instead). Maria works as a wind instrument repair technician at St John's Music Edmonton, as well as math tutoring on the side. She is very excited to be on the DCS board this year! |
ELIZABETH STOLTE, PRESIDENT
Elizabeth Stolte has sung in school, church and community choirs since she was a child. Local choral participation includes U of A Madrigal singers, I Coristi, Chronos Vocal Ensemble and past and present member of Da Camera Singers. Elizabeth has served in many volunteer committee and board positions. She is a Certified Music Therapist and a Certified Counselling Therapist. Elizabeth is Mom to three adult children and in her spare time enjoys, swimming, yoga, and knitting. |
FRANK THEDE, MEMBER AT LARGE
Frank has been singing with Da Camera Singers since 1998 and has held various volunteer positions within the organization during his tenure with the choir. Frank has also sung with a variety of other choirs over the years including Chronos Vocal Ensemble, Pro Coro Canada, Centennial Singers and Something Musical as well as supporting a number of project choirs in the Edmonton area. Frank is a self employed Reliability Engineer and is a strong supporter of the church he attends. He enjoys “building things”, camping and spending time with his extended family. |
TIMOTHY WONG, VICE PRESIDENT
Timothy Wong has been a Da Camera Singers member since 2020 and has been serving as Vice-Chair since the 2020-2021 season. Timothy has sang with Kokopelli Youth Choir, FORM, Etown Augmented & Vacilando. Timothy is an avid arts promoter and loves teaching cello.
