However, over time, they realized Alto’s interest and passion in music and enrolled him in piano lessons at age 10. Firmly an amateur musician, Alto has nevertheless continued to grow and seek out new musical experiences. His background in music includes many years of piano lessons at the Alberta Conservatory of Music (formerly known as Alberta College) and participation in multiple choirs including University of Alberta Concert Choir, University of Alberta Jazz Choir, Form Vocal Ensemble, Calgary Philharmonic Chorus and Symphony Nova Scotia Chorus. He has been a member of Da Camera Singers since 2011. He has previously served as a board member with Da Camera Singers and welcomes the opportunity to contribute further this year as the Vice President. ANDREW RICHARDSON, MEMBER AT LARGE
