BACH AND MENDELSSOHN
Sunday, November 1, 2009 — 3:00 p.m. First Baptist Church — 10031 109 Street NW Da Camera Singers opens the 2009/2010 season with a celebration of Felix Mendelssohn’s 200th birthday, featuring the great composer’s tour through the church year, Sechs Sprüche Op. 79, and the famous Hear My Prayer for soprano soloist and choir. In tribute to Mendelssohn’s greatest musical inspiration, Da Camera Singers will also perform J.S. Bach’s motet Jesu , meine Freude BVW 227. John Brough, Conductor |

RING OUT WILD BELLS
Sunday, May 9, 2010 – 3:00 pm First Baptist Church — 10031 109 Street NW Da Camera Singers welcomes Calgary-based Spiritus Chamber Choir and Artistic Director Timothy Shantz for a concert of double-choir music spanning the musical ages.
